Dr. Eric M Shaver
Dr. Shaver received his DVM degree from Ohio State University in 1985. Although he has a wide variety of interests including exotic animals, equine reproduction, and small animal medicine and surgery, his principal area of concentration is Dairy Production Management. He is currently enrolled in the OSU Dairy Certificate Program. Dr. Shaver also has a degree in Agricultural Engineering (OSU 1984) and is often asked to consult on cow comfort and facility remodeling issues. Currently, he serves as the Holmes County Fair Veterinarian where he enjoys working with 4-H kids of all ages. Dr. Shaver enjoys spending time with his wife Cheryl, daughter Katy, fishing, and raising sheep and llamas.
Dr. Teresa Hoxworth
Dr. Teresa Hoxworth received her DVM degree from Ohio State University in 2003. Her principal areas of practice are small ruminants, as well as small animal medicine and surgery. She works closely with many large breeding kennels and strives to increase kennel owners knowledge in preventative medicine and puppy care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dave and her step-daughter Morgan, horseback riding and gardening.
Dr. Amity Wise
Dr. Wise received her DVM degree from Ohio State University in 2003. Although she loves working with all animals, Dr. Wise has a special interest in equine medicine as well as small animal medicine and surgery. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron, horseback riding, sewing, hiking, baking, gardening and reading.
Aaron J. Wise , DVM, MS
Dr. Aaron Wise, DVM, MS received his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Although Dr. Wise has a special interest in dairy medicine and surgery, he enjoys working with all species of animals. His master's work was in dairy mastitis research. Dr. Wise enjoys horseback riding, working with his own dairy calves, and is looking forward to working with the Holmes County 4-H program.
